In this warp-speed cruise through the Vates Galaxy, we’ll come across wild space species such as chipset vendors, hardware allies, ISVs, cloud nomads, and integration wizards who gather to supercharge XCP-ng and Vates VMS. We’ll break down the ecosystem (gently), reveal how alliances work, and debunk myths other mysterious creatures.

In this warp-speed exploration of the Vates Galaxy, participants will gain a clear view of how the wider ecosystem surrounding XCP-ng and Vates VMS actually works. We’ll travel through the different “regions” of our partner universe, from chipset vendors and hardware builders to ISVs, cloud providers, and system integrators, and explain how each contributes to the growth, credibility, and acceleration of our open-source virtualization stack.

Rather than a technical deep dive, this session offers a visual and accessible map of the ecosystem:

• What types of partners exist, and why do they matter?
• How do alliances differ from channel and sales partnerships?
• What kinds of relationships can Vates build, and what value do they unlock?
• How do these partnerships strengthen our whole-product strategy and support customers at scale?

We’ll introduce the major “families” of partners, clarify the business models behind them, and break down some common misconceptions around alliances, co-sell motions, and ecosystem roles.

Expect an energizing overview designed to help anyone at Vates better understand how alliances operate, how they support our mission, and why building an ecosystem is key to long-term success.
